Settings and behavior#
| Setting or field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Product checks | Missing images, alt text, SEO fields, categories and costs. |
| Variant check | Duplicate SKU values across variants. |
| Worklist | Products with one or more issues and details for affected variants. |
A practical example#
Before catalog cleanup, review products missing images and variants sharing SKUs. Correct the source data in Shopify and use the worklist to check progress.
Permissions and data access#
Reads products and inventory. It reports issues without editing or generating product content.
Access is requested when you turn the module on. Other enabled modules may request their own permissions.
Requirements and limits#
- Checks identify missing fields and duplicates; they do not assess writing quality or guarantee search rankings.
- This is not a full website crawler or accessibility audit.
- Results depend on scans and updates being processed.
If something is not working#
- If totals look incomplete, check scan state and enabled checks.
- For persistent discrepancies, contact support with an example product and check.
- Allow settings changes to finish before making another change on a large catalog.
